as good as it gets
since blogpress appears to be the only app which allows me to post images to tumblr from the ipad in a decent way i am stuck with it.
so what do you get for your 2,39€?
to me it looks like a simple xmlrpc-frontend with basic editing features. theres no wysiwyg-editor, and e.g. in wordpress it lacks the possibility to choose an post thumbnail, which is essential in some themes.
posting to tumblr works fine, you can even choose several pictures and let them float around your text. but unfortunately the pictures are nit stored on your tumblr but either on a dedicated blogpress-storage-site or another one like picasa. so if you use the umblr api to extract your tumblr for your website it doesnt work since the pictures are always stored elsewhere.
together with the camera connection kit it is an easy way to keep your tumblr-photoblog uptodate when only carrying your ipad and your sophisticated dslr with you.
wishes for future revisions:
-full support of all features the webbackend of e.g. tumblr or wordpress are providing
-wysiwyg-editor
at the moment, the native tumblr-app seems to be the only way to upload pictures fro the ipad directly into your tumblr.
